On Friday, June 5th, AIS Construction Equipment will be hosting a Mine Safety Refresher Training Course at the Lansing branch. This valuable learning experience will be one that encourages informed decision making and safe work habits that will result in many years of safe mining. The material delivered in this course is based upon extensive industry research, insights from experienced miners, and MSHA best practices.
Training topics to be covered include: 2014 Fatalities; First Aid; Conveyor Safety; How are we training?; Safety Audits; Ground Control; Accident prevention; Task Training; and Hand Safety. Every topic in the Annual Refresher Training course was created in compliance with MSHA requirements that were established on the Title 30 CFR – Part 46 regulations for surface miners and surface mining contractors.
This 8 hour course will begin at 8 am on Friday morning. The event is open to the public and costs $45 per attendee. The cost will include training facilities, a catered lunch, and a certificate upon completion of the course. AIS Construction Equipment is dedicated to safely advancing and promoting the industry.
